Corvus Takes Flight
NFL Hall of Famer Ty Law came to us knowing what he wanted—something tall, a bottle with six sides, and a raven incorporated into the design. After a long and unsuccessful process with a design agency, he tapped Spearhead to take over. One round of renders, one tweak to align the vision, and we were done! We made the 3D prints in-house, prototyped the ravens in different materials (paper, resin, and metal) at various price points, and chose the pewter finish for its style and class.

4 Walls’ Sunny Global Experience
The client's concepts were complex, so we brought our full scope of industry knowledge and technological expertise to the table to bring this brand to life. This client came to us with an idea inspired by Paddy’s Pub from "It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia." It turned out to be an enjoyable challenge (although no one offered us an egg in this trying time). Label design and production alone took place in multiple countries and required special techniques to showcase the luster of gold. Italy, China, Mexico, USA—we aligned it all. And the outcome was one of our favorite pieces.

With a previous supplier experiencing a failure rate of 40% on label adhesion, Spearhead didn’t have to design the metal label—but we had to accomplish an application process that could stand up to global shipping. With our Pioneer Tapones in Mexico, we did just that. The new adhesive and assembly process reduced the failure rate to 0%.

Spearhead managed all packaging components for 4 Walls’ successful execution—two bottles, two closures, two shippers, six labels, one rigid box, and one wooden box—sourced from four countries. We put our boots on the ground again at Wigle in Pittsburgh to make it happen.

Buchanan’s – Reducing Carbon Footprint With Sustainable Solutions
Buchanan’s set a goal we're passionate about: minimizing the carbon footprint of their VAP. This project aligned perfectly with our commitment to lessen the environmental impact of our designs.
We chose virgin paper from Billerud for its unmatched sustainability in packaging. By switching to lighter-weight paper substrates, we cut down on material usage without compromising the packaging's durability. Our patent-pending "Pressure Fit System" eliminated the need for plastic windows and thermoforms, enhancing the design's eco-friendliness.
In addition, we used recyclable and biodegradable inks and collaborated with Curtis Packaging, a facility known for its carbon-neutral operations and zero-waste-to-landfill policy, all powered by renewable energy.
