I’ve learned a tremendous amount throughout my time in this industry. With two decades designing products and overseeing supply chains as well as six years cultivating Spearhead’s global team of innovators, I’ve gained some invaluable insights. I’ve learned so much from our team and, more importantly, our clients. I feel tremendous empathy for our clients, and as an entrepreneur and CEO, I know what they’re going through. The long hours, the late nights, and the passion behind every project. I take great joy in giving customers what they need, when and how they need it. I’ve done almost every job here, so I understand every aspect of Spearhead’s operations, from managing finance to marketing to the operations team to reviewing reports from our Supply Team and HR. Every minute I’ve dedicated has only intensified the joy, passion, and excitement I derive from working with the Spirits Industry.

I’ve been pioneering branding and packaging solutions in the promotional and spirits industries since 1993, and my years working at Spearhead have proven to be some of the most meaningful. I’ve used the knowledge I’ve gained to lead the charge on making spirits packaging easier, more cutting edge, and, of course, more sustainable. As Chief Innovation Officer, I am responsible for the visionary aspects of Spearhead in the Americas and around the globe, emphasizing expanding client, supplier, and team vision with an eye toward market innovation, differentiation, and disruption. I’ve successfully spearheaded savvy, integrated, market-changing programs for premier, global brands across numerous market sectors. I deeply enjoy my work, and I am excited about the impact it will have on future generations!

I’ve been passionately steering the Italian branch of The Spearhead Group since its inception in 2023! But my journey with Spearhead began in 2019, working on projects with the IED, where fresh ideas and young minds come together to inspire others! I act as the eyes of Spearhead in Europe, and I’m focused on sustainable innovation, which is a massive deal here. Europe’s strict environmental regulations push us to explore new materials and solutions. You’ll often find me at European packaging and spirits trade shows, soaking in the latest trends and networking. My role also involves liaising with Italy’s most prominent spirits producers, introducing them to our global services and the power of our network. Along with passion, drive, and a global perspective, I tend to bring my ‘Giovanna-isms’ – my unique blend of Italian-English that’s become a bit of a legend in the group. I’m always ‘on the move’, eager to discover and embrace new technologies.

I’ve been overseeing our operations in Mexico since 2019! I do everything from handling legal and administrative tasks to scouting for suppliers, managing production projects and even dabbling in design work. I found my way to Spearhead after a period of introspection following the 2017 earthquake. I knew Heather and Robert from previous collaborations and was always impressed by their energy and vision. I was hooked when I learned about Spearhead’s founding and commitment to sustainability. It wasn’t long before I joined them as a consultant. Creativity and a passion for the environment drive me. I’m always looking for sustainable innovations and love brainstorming with the team to turn these ideas into reality. My approach? Bringing sustainability and social responsibility early in conversations is a great way to gauge potential collaborations. For me, respect encapsulates all of Spearhead’s values. My grandmother taught me the importance of sustainability and respect for our planet. So, I infuse these lessons into my work daily, always striving to go the extra mile. Working with such a fantastic team and doing what I love makes it easy to turn great ideas into incredible realities.

Since becoming CEO of Spearhead India in 2023, I’ve led the charge of overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations here and synchronizing every aspect of our operations to ensure peak performance. I am passionate about Spearhead’s dedication to sustainability, innovation, and diversity. My career path has been a testament to my unwavering focus on detail and a deep understanding of logistics and organizational dynamics. These skills have been the cornerstone of my professional growth, directly impacting our company’s trajectory and success. I bring energy, precision, and passion to everything I do!
